Hangouts On Air universalizes live broadcasting; from now on any person with an internet connection and a web cam, and that includes all smartphone owners, will be able to broadcast live events worldwide for free.
Never a human being has had such capability to broadcast a live image to the rest of the world.
And this, in my opinion, has not only the potential of transforming sectors like television, news, music, education or any live event; Hangouts on Air, as any communication media that is universalized, have the potential to change the world.
