As an entrepreneur wannabe I always thought that if you can build your own company based only on your money that's the best way to do it.
I always thought that adding debt to the company (borrowing) was something to be avoided, if possible. Simply because in a start-up, in fact in any company, the fix monthly payments and the interest payments associated to borrowing was something to be avoided, again, if possible.
Now I know I was wrong. I just learned that some borrowing (debt) is good for a company, even for a start-up.
What I'm now up to learning is what the best level of debt is for a company.

And there is an additional advantage, if you (personally) have limited responsibility in the loan: you share the risk with someone else! :)
